Eco Print Fabric Care & Washing Guide

1. Separate Before Washing Separate Eco Print fabrics from other clothing, especially during the first 1–3 washes, as a small amount of excess dye or natural plant residue may be released.

2. Prepare the Washing Water Mix a mild laundry detergent (such as baby detergent or detergent specially formulated for silk) with cold or room-temperature water. Do not use warm or hot water. Avoid stain-removing detergents, detergents containing bleach, and fabric softeners, as these chemicals may damage the natural dyes and colors.

3. Wash Gently Place the fabric in the prepared washing water. Gently move the fabric back and forth and lightly rub only the areas with stains or dirt. Do not soak the fabric for more than 10–15 minutes, and never use a brush to scrub the fabric.

4. Rinse with Clean Water Rinse the fabric with clean water 2–3 times until all traces of detergent have been removed. Gently squeeze out the excess water. Do not wring or twist the fabric forcefully, as this may distort the fibers and natural patterns.

5. Air-Dry in the Shade Gently shake the fabric to remove excess water, then hang it to dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Do not expose the fabric to direct sunlight, as UV rays can cause the natural dyes and Eco Print patterns to fade more quickly.

 6. Ironing Turn the fabric inside out before ironing. Spread the fabric flat and iron it while it is still slightly damp, or lightly mist it with clean water. Use a medium heat setting appropriate for the type of fabric, such as cotton, silk, linen, or hemp.
